It's about time. I'm sick and tired of these little ruffians coming up to my door asking for a free handout. Get a job you little punk.

Once they hit double digits, it begins to be very questionable if they should be trick or treating.
At 12 and after they should really stick to just parties and events.

I agree, age 12 is the cut off point. If a bigger kid comes to the door for Trick or Treat, I'll look for a younger brother or sister with that person. If I don't see the little brother/sister, I will give them the smallest piece of candy I have and politely suggest to them that they're to old.

I feel it has more to do with the spirit of the holiday if they are dressed up, heck ya, trick-or-treat away. It's the fun of the day, that makes it worthwhile, not an age thing.
This is one of the dumbest things I've ran across since the 'war on X-mas'.
