The first benefits aren't the biggest, but they are noteworthy. Adult children can stay on a parent's health plans until 26, and children with pre-existing conditions can't be denied coverage when Dad or Mom signs up for coverage. Depending on the existing plan, consumers will also be entitled to more preventive care, such as flu shots and X-rays.
