I'm a movie junkie. I love going to the movies. I go early to get my popcorn, hotdog, soda, and sometimes pretzels. Going late is a capital crime. Being early means previews. I love me some previews. Leaving during the movie is out of the question. No bathroom. Sorry honey, I'm not getting up to get you no snowcaps or refills. I'm there for the whole experience and I'm taking it all in. Sorry kids...you got to hold it until the credits and you better hope there is no end of the movie "flub" scenes. Well, after venturing out and seeing almost every movie available at my local theater. I found that 2007 will be an interesting year of sequels. I look forward to all of them but I put together a list that I think is accurate. If I missed something please add it to the comment section. Here are some of the sequels for 2007:
Hannibal Rising (the fourth Hannibal Lecter pic, this one a prequel)
The Hills Have Eyes II
Spider-Man 3
Shrek the Third
another Pirates of the Caribbean
Hostel: Part II
Fantastic Four 2
Evan Almighty (a follow-up to Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty, this time starring Steve Carell)
Live Free or Die Hard (Bruce Willis as John McClane for the fourth time)
Transformers (a live-action sequel to the animated original)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (fifth in the series)
The Bourne Ultimatum No. 3
Rush Hour 3
Resident Evil 3
Mr. Bean's Holiday (Bean II)
The Golden Age (a.k.a. Elizabeth 2)
Alien vs. Predator 2
National Treasure II
Halloween 2007 number ????. I lost count.
Indiana Jones 4
My choice for the one I look most forward to seeing is Spider Man 3 with Hannibal as a close second. Spider Man had 2 good outings so I'm going with the consistent performer at this point. "Hannibal" was very disappointing. The Chris Tucker hiatus has me curious about "Rush Hour 3" but it has me more reluctant when an actor is gone so long and returns with a sequel. Sounds like "I need money". I'm surprised they found funding for "Fantastic Four 2" but I guess Jessica Alba in tights gets more people in the theaters than I thought. Harrison Ford and Bruce Willis are back and maybe they are going to take on terrorists. Lastly, I would have rather seen Steve Carell do "40 Year Old Virgin 2" but what do you call it now that he did it?.........Hollywood may have the answer.
